Q: What makes Foreverboard better than other drywall or wallboard products?
A: Foreverboard is lighter, stronger and environmentally friendly. It is resistant to fire, water, mold, mildew, insects, non-allergenic and non-toxic. It has a smoother finish than gypsum drywall. It can be used in place of drywall, wallboard, ceiling board, backer board, MDF board and many others. It has a level 4 finish. For a Level 5 finish, there is no need to treat the wall as there is no paper surface for potential bubbling, as is the case with gypsum drywall.

Q: If I have a water leak or flood, do I need to replace Foreverboard as I do with drywall?
A: No, Foreverboard will not support the growth of mold and mildew so just let it dry out and it's as good as new.

Q: How is Foreverboard environmentally friendly with a negative carbon footprint?
A: Foreverboard absorbs carbon dioxide (CO2) out of the air. This is called carbonation. Over time, it absorbs a minimum of 10 times the amount used to produce the board. This equates to a negative carbon footprint.

Q: Does Foreverboard have EPS (expandable polystyrene) in it?
A: no

Q: How does Foreverboard compare to drywall with regard to drilling, patching and hanging?
A: Forever board acts the same as gypsum drywall in these areas except that it has a stronger grip strength to the wall than typical gypsum drywall.

Q: Is there any other product on the market that is like Foreverboard?
A: No. Foreverboard is the only wallboard product of its kind and is manufactured in the United States.

Q: What are the benefits of a Magnesium Oxide wallboard.
A: The key component in Foreverboard is Magnesium Oxide. The main benefits are fire, moisture, mold and mildew resistance, along with added strength. Magnesium Oxide is a refractory material which means it is physically and chemically stable at high temperatures and gives our boards their freeze/thaw stability. There are no nutritious material in our boards, making them resistant to mold, fungus and insects. The properties of our compounds and the proprietary curing process attributes to the greater strength of Forever board.
